Before using the new weight plates, cleaning them to remove the surface grease is recommended. You can use warm water, mild detergent, or a cleaner specifically designed to clean metal materials. Gently wipe the surface of the weight plates with a soft cloth or sponge to ensure thorough removal of grease.
After cleaning, you can use a clean cloth to dry the weight plates or allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
